Sick Leave, Vacation and Personal Time

Employer provided medical and dental insurance benefits are also part of our comprehensive benefit package. Additional Dental, Vision, Life and other health insurance options are available at the employee's expense. Employees may also choose to enroll their family members in the City's group plan.
Texas Municipal Retirement System
The City of Hudson Oaks particiates in the Texas Municipal Retirement System. The City matches 7% employee contributions 2 to 1. Employees are vested after 5 (five) years, and can retire at age 60, or at any age after 20 years of qualified service.
Hudson Oaks extends to all employees the following 12 (twelve) paid holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Presidents Day
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Friday after Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Additionally, employees receive two paid personal holidays and one paid floating holiday per fiscal year.
