Marc Povero


Marc was sworn in as a member of the Hudson Oaks City Council in May of 2013 and was elected as Mayor in 2018. Marc has been employed by the Fort Worth Police Department since 2001 and is currently a Sergeant in the Patrol Support Section. Marc has served as General Director on the Fort Worth Police Officers Association Board of Directors and is a member of the Airborne Law Enforcement Association. Marc has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Texas A&M University and an A.A.S. Degree in Aviation from San Juan College.

Marc has three children, Aidan, Courtney Lynn and Jacob. He has a passion for aviation and loves to travel. He also enjoys participating in special outreach projects through his church.
