In coordination with Parker County and the Texas Department of Transportation, this locally initiated project will provide for improved traffic flow at the US180/IH-20 interchange. The Hudson Oaks Bridge will be widened from 2 lanes to 4 lanes; the US-180/Hudson Oaks Drive intersection will be expanded and reconstructed in concrete; and the frontage road at IH-20/Hudson Oaks Drive will have signals installed.

The City is responsible for engineering and, along with Parker County, a small portion of the construction costs. TxDOT is providing construction management and the majority of construction costs.

In addition, Green Ribbon funding for new IH-20 landscaping was added to this project after it was awarded to the contractor.
