This project will replace chip seal and asphalt roads with concrete curb-and-gutter street sections, including on-street parking and underground drainage as well as streetscaping to create a walkable, mixed-use downtown development.

Construction of the Oakey Trail/Hudson Oaks Drive intersection is underway. Crews are expected to wrap up paving operations and move to the Hudson Oaks Drive/Inspiration Drive intersection by Monday, June 4.

Paving on Midway should begin next week, which will allow the western section of the project to be opened up around mid-April so work can begin at the intersection of Oakey Trail and Hudson Oaks Drive.

Drainage improvements north of Inspiration are progressing more rapidly as the terrain becomes less rocky. Paving is expected to begin on portions of Oakey Trail and Midway Lane next week.

Oakey Trail west of Boo Ray's will be closed to thru traffic beginning next week. It will remain open for residential traffic during construction.
