This project will construct a uniquely identifiable stage and pavilion at Gene Voyles Park. Featuring a concrete stage and modern steel/wood elements resembling trees, this pavilion will become a beautiful landmark for the city for years to come.

The stage and sidewalk elements are expected to be completed by Friday, May 19. The structural steel elements are expected to arrive next week as well, with construction on that portion to begin June 1.
March 31, 2017
Initial grading has begun and structural piers are being drilled and poured today. The concrete work should be completed within three weeks.
March 3, 2017
A contractor has been chosen to perform the dirt, steel, pier, and concrete work for this project. Construction is expected to begin the week of March 12, 2017. Bids for the metal structure are expected to be received and awarded by the end of March.
